Pastor Rick & Cheryl Gates

Rick is the lead pastor, or senior pastor (as some say), here at Crossroads.  Rick graduated from Taylor University, in Upland, Indiana, in 1982 and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1986. 

Rick served as an assoc. pastor in Michigan for 7 years and then as a senior pastor and church planter in Chicago for 11 years before coming to Perry.

Rick and Cheryl have fallen in love with Perry since moving here on Feb. 1 of 2004.  They are committed to sharing the love of Christ with the community by serving others and living out their faith in their every day life.

Sam, age 19, is a Sophomore at Crown College In St. Bonifacius, MN and Shelby, age 15, loves Des Moines Christian School where she is in 10th grade!
